Director Mahesh Chandra, who made his debut as director with the 1999 film Preyasi Raave, is back after a long break with his new film Pithapuram Lo. Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad is playing the lead in this film, while Prudhvi Raj, Manichandana, Sai Praneeth among others are part of the cast. On Tuesday, the title poster of this movie was officially launched by Telangana Deputy Chief Minister, Bhatti Vikramarka.

"The director explained the film's concept to me. It seems to be a good, message-oriented film. It has a message for today's youth about how to make decisions and grow while respecting family values. I hope everyone supports this film,” said the Deputy Chief Minister.

"Director Mahesh Chandra has handled a very relevant point about what is happening in society today. I really liked the story and was happy to be a part of this film. Much like my previous films Aa Naluguru, Mee Sreyobhilashi, and Onamalu, this movie delivers a strong message while still having elements that will attract the youth,” said Rajendra Prasad.

Meanwhile, Director Mahesh Chandra stated that this is a story that is very close to his heart. “While it seems like the story of three fathers, it also revolves around three couples,” added the director.

Incidentally, film also borrows its title from the constituency name of Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan. The director also shared that the film is in post-production and hit the screens next month.

Mahesh Chandra’s previous films include Cheppalani Vundhi and Okkade
