On the occasion of Prabhas completing 23 years in the film industry, the makers of The Raja Saab, released a new poster featuring the actor. Prabhas made his debut with the 2002 film Eeswar.

Eeswar was directed by Jayanth C Paranjee, and also starred Sridevi Vijayakumar, Revathi, Brahmanandam, and more. R. P. Patnaik composed music for the film, which featured lyrics by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry.

Maruthi is writing and directing The Raja Saab. Actor Malavika Mohanan is making her Telugu debut with the film. Other cast members include Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani. Thaman S is composing music for the film.

Earlier it was rumoured that the film's release will be postponed from its planned Sankranthi 2026 release. But the rumours were quashed by the team, who reassured that The Raja Saab will release as planned. The film will release alongside Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, Anaganaga Oka Raju, and Nari Nari Naduma Murari.
