We had recently reported about Spirit Media’s upcoming film as presenter, titled Pysch Siddhartha. The film’s official teaser was launched at a ceremony in Hyderabad on Saturday. 

Written and directed by debutant Varun Reddy, Psych Siddhartha stars Nandu, who is credited as Shree Nandu, in the lead role. The teaser begins with an uncontrollable rant by the film’s protagonist Siddharth (Nandu) about the inane traffic sense of the people around him, as he abuses him in outrageously profane lingo. The rant slowly progresses to other aspects of his life, as the teaser gradually reveals him as a ‘loser’ hero who has lost everything that matters in life — be it money, career or love. Shree Nandu looks very impressive in his transformation as this unkempt, shabby young man.

Without giving anything elese, Psych Siddhartha teaser builds ground for a wacky comic entertainer with a no-holds-barred energy and plenty of quirky characters.

The ensemble cast of the film includes Yaamini Bhaskar, Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas, Sakshi Atree, Mounika, Narasimha S, Sukesh, Wadekar Narsing, Pradyumna Billuri.

Shyam Sunder Reddy Thudi has produced Psych Siddhartha under the banner of Nanduness Keep Rolling Pictures. Besides playing the titular role and serving as a co-producer, Shree Nandu has also been credited with additional screenplay for the film. Smaran Sai is the music director for the film. Other key technicians include K Prakash Reddy as the cinematographer and Prateek Nuti as the editor. 

Psych Siddhartha is set to arrive in theatres on Decembeer 12.
