Aadi Saikumar, whose last feature film Shanmukha released in March, is now gearing up for his next release Shambhala: A Mystical World. On Saturday, Prabhas unveiled the official trailer of Shambhala on his social media page.

The trailer begins with a voiceover explaining a battle between Lord Shiva and a demon, that is believed to be the reason for the sudden descent of an unidentified huge rock from the sky. Ever since its found in the village, strange occurrences begin to occur there, including mysterious killings.  Written and directed by Ugandhar Muni, Shambhala promises to be an intriguing action-thriller, with a unique challenge facing our protagonist Vikram, who is a geo-scientist — he must battle the bastions of strong superstitious beliefs while also trying to unravel the mystery behind all the supernatural events.

Besides Aadi Saikumar, Shambhala also features Archana Iyer as the female lead and prominent names like Swasika Vijay, Annapooranamma, Ravi Varma, Meesala Laxman, Shiju Menon, Harsha Vardhan, Shiva Karthik, and Shailaja Priya in the supporting cast. 

Sricharan Pakala is the music director. The cinematgraphy and editing is by Praveen K Bangarri and Shravan Katikaneni, respectively. Other key technicians include Ayesha Maryam as the costume designer and Rajkumar as the stunt master.

Produced by Mahidhar Reddy and Rajasekhar Annabhimoju under Shining Pictures Banner, Shambhala will arrive in theatres on December 25.
