The makers of Shambhala: A Mystical World, starring Aadi Saikumar, released a behind-the-scenes making video on Monday, offering a first look into the film’s scale and production design. Directed by Ugandhar Muni and produced by Rajasekhar Annabhimoju and Mahidhar Reddy under Shining Pictures, Shambhala is billed as a high-budget supernatural thriller.

The making video highlights visuals of a mysterious artefact, large-scale sets, and action sequences, hinting at the film’s fantasy and mythological themes. Aadi Saikumar plays a geoscientist who embarks on a journey spanning three timelines: 1980, 1,000 years ago, and 10,000 years in the past. The narrative is set to blend science fiction, mythology, and supernatural elements.

Alongside Aadi, the film features Archana Iyer, Swasika, Anandhi, and Ravi Varma in key roles. The teaser is expected to be released soon. Shambhala is the first production venture from Shining Pictures. Director Ugandhar Muni, an alumnus of the New York Film Academy, previously made his debut with A (Ad Infinitum) (2021). The film’s music is composed by Sriram Madduri, who has previously collaborated with Hollywood composer Hans Zimmer.
