The Ram Charan starrer Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is currently slated for a release on March 27, 2026. In the brief teaser and promotional material so far, the makers had only primarily focused on Ram Charan’s character. However, on Saturday, the makers finally gave a glimpse of the film’s female lead Janhvi Kapoor, with a new set of character posters.

In Peddi, Janhvi will be seen playing the ‘fierce and fearless’ Achiyyamma. The Mili actor looks riveting in the new posters which also hint at a possibility of her playing a sports announcer in the film. In one of the posters, Janhvi can be seen greeting the crowd around her while standing in a moving jeep with a stoic expression. More details about the role are awaited.

Besides Ram Charan and Janhvi, Peddi also features Divyenndu in a major role, marking his Telugu debut. Additionally, the film features notable names like Shivarajkumar and Jagapathi Babu in the supporting cast.

Also, AR Rahman will be making his comeback to Telugu cinema after many years with this project. In the technical team, Peddi has R Rathnavelu, who previously helmed cinematography for Devara, National Award winning editor Navin Nooli and production designer Avinash Kolla.

Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is mounted on a grand scale. The film promises to present Ram Charan in a never-before-seen avatar with multiple distinct looks. The makers are currently shooting a lavish song sequence in Sri Lanka, after wrapping up many portions in last two months.

Upon it’s release, Peddi will clash at the box office against Nani starrer The Paradise.
