Naresh Agastya, who last played major roles in psychological thrillers like Kali and Vikkata Kavi, wll be seen in a completely different shade next in Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha. Written and directed by Vipin, the film promises to be a tender love story. The first teaser of the film was released on Saturday.

Also starring Rabiya Khatoon in the lead role, Meghalu Cheppina Prema Kathalu promises to revolve around a heartwarming love story between its protagonists, where the two bond over music, nature and other beauties of life, in a landscape far removed from the urban chaos. With cinematography

The film also features Prince Rama Varma, Raja Chembolu, Harsha Vardhan, Mohan Raman, Jogi Naidu and Sanjay Reddy in supporting roles. Additionally, veteran actors like Tanikella Bharani, Aamani, Suman, Radhika Sarathkumar are part of the ensemble cast. Thota Tharani is the production designer, and Mohana Krishna is the cinematographer. Editing is by Marthand Venkatesh. 

Another big name in the film’s technical team is Justin Prabhakaran, who has composed the lilting score. 

Produced by Uma Devi Kota under the banner of Sunethra Entertainment, Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha is yet to get a release date. Uma Devi has also co-written the story in association with Ravinder Pulle, besides working as the costume designer.
