The makers of Anaganaga Oka Raju, starring Naveen Polishetty and Meenakshii Chaudhary, have officially confirmed January 14, 2026, as its theatrical release date, coinciding with the Sankranthi festival. The announcement was made alongside a motion poster, setting the tone for a perfect Sankranthi entertainer.
Directed by debutant Maari, Anaganaga Oka Raju features Polishetty in a comic lead role. It marks his return to cinema following a brief hiatus due to a bike accident earlier in 2024. He was last seen in Ms Shetty Mr Polishetty (2023).
Anaganaga Oka Raju is said to revolve around a young man’s elaborate wedding plans, with the previously released “pre-wedding video” glimpse offering a humorous look into the lead character’s aspirations, including a tongue-in-cheek reference to industrialist Mukesh Ambani.
Meenakshii Chaudhary, who plays the bride-to-be, continues her streak of leading roles in successful Telugu films. The music is composed by Mickey J Meyer, while J Yuvraj handles cinematography.
Anaganaga Oka Raju is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners and presented by Srikara Studios.
