We had reported a few days ago about Nayanthara coming onboard for the Chiranjeevi-Anil Ravipudi film, tentatively titled MEGA157. On Friday, the makers announced commencing the shoot for their project.

The film is jointly produced under the banners of Shine Screen and Gold Box Entertainments, with Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela. MEGA157 marks the maiden collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi. Nayanthara and Chiranjeevi earlier worked together in Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy and Godfather. 

While details of other primary cast members are yet to be officially announced, Bheems Ceciroleo returns as the music director for Anil Ravipudi, after their recent successful collaboration in Sankranthiki Vasthunam. S Krishna and G Adi Narayana are credited as co-writers for the film, in association with Anil Ravipudi. In the technical crew, Sameer Reddy helms the cinematography and AS Prakash is the production designer. Tammiraju is in charge of editing. 

MEGA157 is tentatively scheduled for a Sankranthi 2026 release.
