The much-anticipated collaboration between Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled NTRNeel, continues to generate interest as filming progresses. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the action drama is scheduled to release on June 25, 2026 in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.

As Jr NTR’s birthday on May 20 approaches, fans of the actor were anticipating an update from the NTRNeel team. However, the makers have announced on Saturday that they will hold off on releasing any content on that date, as Jr NTR's upcoming film War 2 is set to reveal its promotional material on the same day.

In a statement, the team wrote: “With the release of the War 2 content, we felt it’s best to let it have its moment, and save the NTRNeel MASS MISSILE glimpse for a little later. This year, we’re fully dedicating the birthday celebrations of NTR to War 2.”

Directed by Prashanth Neel and featuring music by Ravi Basrur, cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, and production design by Chalapathi, NTRNeel is set to showcase NTR in a high-octane role. The film is presented by T-Series and produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju.
