Choreographer Bosco Martis, who choreographed the popular song ‘Chuttamalle’ from Devara: Part 1, has shared his disappointment over not being acknowledged for his contribution during the film’s promotions. The track, which featured Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor in her Telugu film debut, became one of the most viral songs of 2024.

In a recent interview with BBC Asian Network, Martis said, “I wish Janhvi had spoken about my contribution to Chuttamalle’ in her promotions, but fine, it’s okay. If they don’t realise it, then they don’t realise it. So, you do your work, and maybe it’s a switch; I don’t know!” He added that recognition for choreographers should be part of a standard practice rather than something that must be requested.

Martis praised actor Vicky Kaushal for crediting him in the promotions of the Tauba Taubasong from Bad Newz, citing it as a positive example.

Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, was released on September 27, 2024, and featured Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and others. The actor hasn't responded. Meanwhile, reports suggest that the director Koratala Siva is actively working on shaping the second part of the film.
