We had earlier reported about speculations surrounding Nayanthara signing Anil Ravipudi’s next project, where he is working with Chiranjeevi. On Saturday, the makers officially confirmed the collaboration.

On the occasion, the team also shared a cheeky announcement video, featuring Nayanthara and Anil Ravipudi. In the announcement video, Nayanthara can be seen getting ready for the shoot. As she repeatedly speaks in Telugu, and asks for a Chiranjeevi song to be played, her assistants prod her if she is returning to Telugu cinema. Later, Nayanthara asks the cameraman to make space for the director in the frame, at which Anil Ravipudi introduces himself as the captain of the ship. 

The film, tentatively titled MEGA157, is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela, under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments. It will mark third collaboration between Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara after Godfather and Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy.

On the technical crew, the cinematography is by Sameer Reddy, and Tammiraju is the editor. The writing team also includes S Krishna, G Adi Narayana, Ajju Mahakali and Tirumala Nag. Bheems Ceciroleo, who composed a chartbuster soundtrack for Anil Ravipudi’s previous release Sankranthiki Vasthunam, returns as the composer for this film.
