The makers of Oka Brundavanam released the official trailer for their movie on Thursday, also announcing the release date of the film. Directed by debutant Satya Botcha, the film will hit theatres on May 23.

Starring Balu, Shinnova and Sanvitha in leading roles, Oka Brundavanam promises to be a breezy yet heartwarming road movie, revolving around the lives of two misfits — A young slacker named Vikram (Balu) struggling to realise his US dreams and an ambitious girl (Shinnova) escaping early marriage diktats from her family — whose paths cross as they decide to make a documentary film about womanhood. Their endeavours lead them to Nayanika (Sanvitha), a young girl who has run away from orphanage. As they decide to trace the root cause of her underlying angst, the two discover new layers to life.

Veterans like Subhalekha Sudhakar and Annapurnama will be seen in significant roles in the film. The ensemble cast also includes Sivaji Raja, Roopa Lakshmi, Kalyanee Raju, Vamsi Nekkanti, Mahendar, Ananth Babu, and Mehaboob Basha.

Oka Brundavanam is jointly produced by Kishore Tatikonda, Venkat Regatte, Prahalad Bommineni, and Manoj Indupuru under the banner of Seer Studios. Sunny-Saketh have composed music for the film. The vibrant cinematography is by Raj K Nalli.
