The makers of OG revealed that the film resumed shooting on Monday. The Pawan Kalyan starrer has been long delayed due to the actor’s political commitments. Now with the news that the film is back on track provides relief to the fans of the actor. 

The team took to social media and wrote, “It started again, but this time, let’s finish it.” They posted a working still from the set featuring the director and DOP looking at the monitors.

OG is billed as a gangster-entertainer that stars Pawan Kalyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan and Emraan Hashmi. Helmed by director Sujeeth, of Saaho and Run Raja Run fame, the film is one of the most highly anticipated star-led projects. The film is scheduled for a 2025 release. Makers are yet to confirm a release date. 

OG is said to revolve around Pawan Kalyan’s character, Ojas Gambheera, a gangster in exile who returns to Mumbai for an important mission. Makers of the film released a glimpse on the same date of Pawan Kalyan’s birthday last year titled 'Hungry Cheetah', which garnered enormous praise and acclaim from general audiences and fans of the star. 

OG has energetic music by SS Thaman, cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and production design by A S Prakash.
