Ram Charan, whose previous film, Game Changer, turned out to be a commercial failure, is working with Uppena filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana on his next film. The first look and title of the film, tentatively titled RC 16, will be unveiled on Thursday morning, the makers confirmed today.
Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, RC 16 promises to be a social drama set against the backdrop of rural hinterlands. Along with the title announcement date, the makers added the caption, “Grit, power, and an untamed spirit from the rural lands.” The team also shared a new poster, featuring Ram Charan with a cheroot cigar in his hands and with his back to the camera.
Billed as an AR Rahman musical, RC 16 also stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and Jagapathi Babu, Shivarajkumar, and Divyenndu in the supporting cast. The film is being co-presented by Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers.
The technical team of RC 16 too comprises prominent names like Rathnavelu, who helms the cinematography, and Avinash Kolla as the production designer. Navin Nooli helms the editing.
