Robinhood, the Nithiin-Sreeleela starrer entertainer, is slated to hit theatres on March 28, clashing against another big comedy MAD Square.  Earlier on Tuesday, there were reports that the makers of Robinhood were granted price hikes for their release across the two states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. However, the makers have issued a clarification on the same.

Taking to their X page, the film’s production banner Mythri Movie Makers posted, “There are unverified reports and news that Robinhood will have hiked prices in theatres. All these are completely baseless. Our intention with the film is to give wholesome entertainment at affordable prices.” The team also confirmed that the price hikes are only applicable at a few select locations in Andhra Pradesh.

The makers also confirmed a U/A certification for their film on Tuesday. Directed by Venky Kudumula, Robinhood also features prominent names like Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad and Shine Tom Chacko in the supporting cast. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer for the film.

Venky and Nithiin have earlier worked together on the 2018 film Bheeshma
