Dheeraj Dhoopar is set to enter the Telugu film industry with his debut in Kalavaram. Directed by Balakrishna Katta and produced by Shobha Rani under CLN Media, the film features Vijay Kanishka, son of director Vikraman, in the lead role. Dhoopar plays a negative character, marking a shift from his established career in Hindi television to Tollywood.

Kalavaram is currently being shot in Hyderabad. His transition to Telugu cinema comes after a long career in Hindi television, where he played notable roles in Sasural Simar Ka and Kundali Bhagya.

Dhoopar began his career in modelling before making his television debut in Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg in 2009. He gained recognition as Prem Bharadwaj in Sasural Simar Ka, followed by his role as Karan Luthra in Kundali Bhagya, which earned him awards from the Indian Television Academy. Apart from acting, Dhoopar has hosted television shows and is known for his presence in the fashion industry.
