Chiranjeevi, who is the elder brother to Naga Babu, Pawan Kalyan, and his sisters Vijaya Durga and Madhavi, recently spoke about a lesser-known chapter of his life, the loss of three siblings during his childhood.

The actor shared an emotional chapter of his past in a recently released special video titled “Mega Women’s Interview,” where Chiranjeevi, Naga Babu, Anjana Devi, and other members of the family appeared. “This makes me emotional whenever I think of it. They were just one or two and a half years old when they passed away,” he said.

Chiranjeevi also recalled the passing of his younger sister, Ramana, when he was in sixth standard. She was diagnosed with a brain tumour and passed away in a government hospital. “My mother and I brought her body home in a rickshaw. We didn’t know how to perform the final rites, and our Muslim neighbours helped us. By the time my father returned after hearing the news, the rituals were already completed,” he recounted.

Chiranjeevi further shared that their family is together and thriving mainly because of their mother, Anjana Devi.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is set to begin work on his upcoming film directed by Anil Ravipudi. His Vishwambhara is yet to get a release date.
