The makers of Venkatesh starrer Sankranthiki Vasthunam, which emerged as the first major boxoffice hit of the year, recently added another feather to their cap. On Tuesday, the Anil Ravipudi directorial completed its 50-day run at as many as 92 centres across the country.

30 out of these 92 centres are from Nizam territory, while 20 others belong to the Vizag region. The film also completed 50 days in 4 territories in Karnataka, which is a non-Telugu market. The film’s final worldwide collections (gross) stand approximately at 255 crore, according to a report from boxoffice tracker Sacnilk.com.

On the occasion, Anil Ravipudi to his X page to express his gratitude to his distributors and exhibitors, as well as the audience for their enthusiastic support towards him film. Sankranthiki Vasthunam marked the third collaboration between him and Venkatesh, after F2: Fun and Frustration, and F3. 

Besides Venkatesh, the comedy entertainer also starred Meenaakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead cast.  Produced by Shrish, the film recently also had its OTT premiere on Zee 5, where it began streaming on March 1.
