Roshan Kanakala, who made his on-screen debut in 2023 with the romantic drama Bubble Gum, is working with filmmaker Sandeep Raj for his next film titled Mowgli. The makers of the film recently wrapped up the first shoot schedule.

Reportedly, the team finished shooting some key sequences in locations like Rampachodavaram and Maaredumilli. The next schedule of the film, comprising some big-scale action sequences, is scheduled to begin soon in some forest locales. It is to be noted that Mowgli has been billed as an action romance set against a forest backdrop.

Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, Mowgli stars Sakshi Mhadolkar as the female lead, marking her Telugu debut. Harsha Chemudu is part of the ensemble cast as well. Kaala Bhairava has been signed to compose music for the film, and Rama Maruthi helms the cinematography. Editing is by Kalyan Kodati.
