The makers of MAD Square, the sequel to the 2023 comedy drama MAD, have announced a revised release date. Originally set for March 29, the film will now arrive in theatres on March 28, directly clashing with Nithiin’s Robinhood at the box office. Announcing the change on social media, the team wrote, “We tried waiting for March 29… but the entertainment is too mad to be kept on hold.”

Directed by Kalyan Shankar, MAD Square follows the returning ensemble cast as they embark on a wild bachelor’s party trip to Goa. The teaser hints at a high-energy, comedy-driven narrative in line with the first film, with a Hangover-style adventure.

MAD Square is produced by Naga Vamsi under the Sitara Entertainments banner. The cast includes Narne Nithiin, Sangeeth Shobhan, and Ram Nithin, alongside Vishnu Oi, Priyanka Jawalkar, and Muralidhar Goud.

MAD Square features cinematography by Shyam Dutt, editing by Naveen Nooli, and music by Bheems Ceciroleo.
