The first teaser of the Nani starrer The Paradise was unveiled in February, generating a lot of buzz with its strong language and dystopian visuals. While the makers resumed the shoot for their film a few days ago, Nani joined the production on Saturday. The makers also released a new poster on the occasion, featuring a dramatically low-angle shot of Nani stepping into a slums-like landscape. Nani will reportedly go on to continue shooting for an extensive 40-day schedule, set against a gritty backdrop meticulously constructed in Hyderabad.

Srikanth Odela is the writer-director for The Paradise, marking his second collaboration with Nani after the 2023 film Dasara. Anirudh has been signed to compose the music.  National award winning editor Navin Nooli is onboard, so is Avinash Kolla as the production designer.

While the makers are yet to confirm this, Kill fame Raghav Juyal has reportedly been signed to play the antagonist. Other actors in consideration for prominent roles include Kayadu Lohar.

Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of SLV Cinemas, The Paradise is mounted as a massive global-scale project, slated to release also in Hindi, English, Bengali, and Spanish, besides the four major south Indian languages. As of now, The Paradise is scheduled for a release on March 26 next year.
