Varun Tej, who last headlined the crime-thriller Matka, is working in a Indo-Korean co-production as his next project. The film, billed as a horror comedy, is tentatively titled #VT15. On Saturday, Varun Tej left for Korea to commence a new big-scale schedule for his project.

The first two schedules of the film were completed in Hyderabad and Ananthapur, respectively. #VT15 is being directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, who is known for films like Venkatadri Express (2013) and Krishnarjuna Yuddam (2018). The project is being produced under the banners of UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment.

While Manojh Reddy is onboard as the cinematographer, the film features music by S Thaman, marking his third collaboration with Varun Tej after Tholiprema (2018) and Ghani (2022). The film reportedly has Korean writers on board.

Ritika Nayak is signed as the female lead, while Satya too is slated to play a major role. More details about the film’s primary cast are yet to be officially announced.

The film was officially announced in January with a poster, and the shoot officially commenced in March. The makers had released a quirky tongue-in-cheek promo featuring Varun Tej, Satya and Merlapaka Gandhi.
