Dear Uma, the romantic drama which had a theatrical release in April, finally has a streaming partner. The film began streaming exclusively on Sun Nxt earlier today.

Starring Pruthvi Ambaar and Sumaya Reddy in the lead cast, Dear Uma told the story of a down-on-luck singer (Pruthvi) whose life turns upside down when he meets a kind-hearted doctor (Sumaya). 

Besides playing the female lead, Sumaya also served as the story writer and producer for the film. The screenplay and dialogues were by Sai Rajesh Mahadev, who also helmed the direction. The supporting cast of Dear Uma includes Kamal Kamaraju, Sapthagiri, Ajay Ghosh, Aamani, Rajeev Kanakala, Prithviraj, and Roopa Lakshmi. Raj Thota helmed the cinematography, while Radhan was on board as the music composer.

Releasing against other big films like Odela 2 and Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi, Dear Uma failed to perform well at the box office.

Pruthvi Ambaar, who primarily works in Kannada cinema, will next be seen in Chowkidar.
