Pawan Kalyan has officially joined the latest schedule of Ustaad Bhagat Singh, currently being filmed in Hyderabad. The film, directed by Harish Shankar, marks a reunion between the actor and the filmmaker after their 2012 blockbuster Gabbar Singh. Sreeleela, who plays the female lead, has also commenced shooting alongside Kalyan.

The new schedule of Ustaad Bhagat Singh is planned to run for 30 days and will include key sequences featuring the lead cast. The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.

Initially announced as a remake of the Tamil film Theri, the project underwent changes during a production pause caused by Kalyan’s political commitments. Director Harish Shankar later clarified that the final version is an original script inspired by the initial concept but rewritten substantially.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh features Kalyan in the role of a police officer. The technical crew includes music composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Ayananka Bose, editor Ujjwal Kulkarni, and production designer Anand Sai. The screenplay is provided by K Dasharath with additional writing by Chandra Mohan.

Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan recently wrapped up the shoot for Sujeeth's directorial OG.
