The makers of The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, unveiled the film’s release date to be December 5. The much-awaited film’s teaser is set to land on June 16 at 10:52 AM. Directed by Maruthi, the film marks Prabhas’ foray into the horror-comedy genre and has generated considerable interest among fans and industry watchers alike.

Backed by People Media Factory, the pan-Indian film features Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar in key roles. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of the protagonist’s grandfather. Prabhas is set to play dual roles and one of a ghost.

The Raja Saab is being made on a substantial budget and aims to blend horror elements with humour and family sentiment. The music is composed by Thaman, whose work is expected to play a significant role in shaping the film’s atmosphere. The film is in its final leg of shoot with a few pending songs and the makers are said to be working extensively on the VFX portions.

The film continues to be one of the more anticipated projects in Prabhas’ lineup, which includes Hanu Raghavapudi’s untitled period war drama and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit.
