Directed by Praveen Kandregula, known for Cinema Bandi, Subham blends horror with humour and was billed as a family entertainer with a strong focus on women-centric themes. The film features Harshith Malgireddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, and Shalini Kondepudi in prominent roles. Samantha made a brief cameo appearance in the film, marking her presence in her maiden production under the banner Tralala Moving Pictures.

The story is of Subham penned by Vasanth Mariganti, with The Family Man co-creator Raj Nidimoru serving as the creative producer. Clinton Cerejo composed the music, while Vivek Sagar provided the background score. Mridul Sujit Sen handled the cinematography, contributing to the film’s overall visual tone.

Released alongside Sree Vishnu’s #Single, Subham managed a modest theatrical run but received strong critical acclaim. Read the CE review of Subham which states, “Writer Vasanth Maringanti cracks a unique satirical concept about TV fandom and gender hierarchy, and director Praveen Kandregula captures the script’s zany potential with great precision.”
