With its mix of jazz rhythms and playful lyricism, ‘Please Please Ma’am’ from Nara Rohith’s Sundarakanda offers a breezy glimpse into the film’s quirky romantic tone. Unveiled on Thursday, the track arrives as the second single from the soundtrack, following Bahusa Bahusa,’ and builds further anticipation for what marks Rohith’s 20th feature.

The song can be described as a sweet apology in jazz. It is penned by lyricist Sri Harsha Emani and features vocals from Arjun Chandy, Deepak Blue, Aravind Srinivas, Saisharan, Reshma Shyam, Haripriya, and Lavita Lobo. Their layered harmonies give the track its playful energy, matching its premise of a man and his friends trying to win over his love interest.

Directed by debutant Venkatesh Nimmalapudi, Sundarakanda follows Sidharth, a neurotic yet endearing middle-aged bachelor navigating love and companionship across two phases of his life. The narrative blends humour with themes of second chances, featuring Vriti Vaghani and Sri Devi Vijay Kumar as the two leads opposite Rohith.

Produced under Sandeep Picture Palace (SPP) by Santhosh Chinnapolla, Gowtham Reddy, and Rakesh Mahankalli, Sundarakanda is set for its theatrical release on August 27, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi.

Sundarakanda’s music is composed by Leon James, with cinematography by Pradeesh M Varma, editing by Rohan Chillale, and art direction by Rajesh Pentakota. The supporting cast includes Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Vasuki Anand, Satya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Abhinav Gomatam, Viswant, Rupa Lakshmi, Sunaina, and Raghu Babu.
