Marking Mrunal Thakur’s birthday on Thursday, the makers of Adivi Sesh's Dacoit unveiled a striking new poster featuring the actor in a gritty and intense look. Seen aiming a gun with steely focus, her expression captures a mix of determination and pain, hinting at the turmoil her character, Juliet, will navigate in the film.

Mrunal’s role in Dacoit is positioned as central to the narrative. More than a love interest, Juliet appears to be at the heart of a story driven by passion, betrayal, and revenge. Speaking about the character in the past, the makers have hinted that Juliet forms the emotional anchor of this layered drama.

The film, directed by debutant Shaniel Deo, pairs Mrunal with Adivi Sesh, who plays a character entangled in a violent past and conflicted loyalties. A recently released “Fire Glimpse” teaser gave a peak into their relationship alongside intense action sequences, including a shot of a train crashing into a prisoner van. The teaser also showed Anurag Kashyap as a fierce police officer, adding further intrigue to the mix.

Currently being filmed in Hyderabad, Dacoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and co-produced by Suniel Narang under Annapurna Studios. Music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.

The film will be released simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, with dubbed versions in other languages, targeting a pan-India audience. Slated for a theatrical release on December 25, Dacoit is billed as an intense blend of romance, betrayal, and high-octane action.
