Anil Ravipudi, who delivered a blockbuster with Sankranthiki Vasthunam, is working with Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara in his next entertainer, tentatively titled MEGA157. We had earlier reported that the makers were filming a key schedule in Kerala with Chiranjeevi, Nayanthara and other cast members. The team recently wrapped up the said shoot schedule, which was the third schedule for the film. 

The Kerala schedule included a song sequence as well as key talkie portions. The makers also shared a photo of Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi on the occasion.

The film is being produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela in association with Gold Box Entertainments under the banner of Shine Screens.  Keeping in tandom with Anil Ravipudi’s style, the MEGA157 shoot is happening at a brisk pace. The makers are also reportedly planning to announce the official title and unveil the first look very soon. MEGA157 has been tentatively scheduled for Sankranthi 2026 release. 

A few days ago, following a few instances of footage leak from the Kerala shoot, the MEGA157 team issued a statement, expressing their displeasure about the same. The makers also warned those found leaking the footage of stern legal action.

The project has generated a lot of enthusiasm among film-lovers for several reasons, Chiranjeevi returning to the comedy-entertainer genre being one of them. The film marks Anil’s first collaboration with Chiranjeevi, and reunites the latter with Nayanthara after Sye Raa Narsimha Reddy (2019)  and Godfather (2022). VTV Ganesh is also part of the ensemble cast.

While details of other cast members are yet to be announced, Bheems Ceciroleo returns as the music director for Anil Ravipudi, after their successful collaboration in Sankranthiki Vasthunam.

Other key crew members include Sameer Reddy as the cinematographer, AS Prakash as the production designer, and Tammiraju as the editor. The writing team includes S Krishna, Ajju Mahankali, Tirumala Nag, and G Adi Naray.
