The makers of the Naveen Chandra starrer Show Time announced the OTT release date for their film on Satuday. The mystery thriller will begin streaming on Sun Nxt on July 25, exactly three weeks after its theatrical release.

Directed by Madhan Dhakshinamoorthy, Show Time is an official remake of the Tamil film Noodles. The film revolves around the tribulations of a middle-class family that accidentally become responsible for the death of an intruder, and is now desperately trying to manage the situation against an arrogant cop (Raja Ravindra) who is out there to get them. Kamakshi Bhaskarla played the role of Shanti, while VK Naresh appeared in an uncharacteristic, goofy role.

In our review for the film, we noted, “Amidst its flailing storytelling, the film surprises you occasionally with its cinematic choices. While the background score is subpar and never commits to the film’s tonality, the cinematography creates an intriguing atmosphere.”

Show Time was produced by Kishore Garikipati under SkyLine Movies banner. In the technical team, Sarath Kumar and T Vinod Raja helmed editing and cinematography, respectively. Shekar Chandra composed music for the film.

Show Time marked Naveen Chandra’s fifth theatrical release this year, after Game Changer, 28 Degree Celsius, Blind Spot, and Eleven.
