AP Govt allows Rs 600 hike for Hari Hara Veera Mallu premiere shows, 200 for first 10 days

The Pawan Kalyan-starrer period action-drama will hit theatres worldwide on July 24

The Pawan Kalyan starrer period action drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part - Sword vs Spirit is finally ready for a grand theatrical release on July 24. Prior to that, the makers have planned to organise paid premiere shows for fans in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. On Saturday, the Andhra Pradesh approved a massive price hike in the ticket rates for both the paid premiere shows as well as the regular shows that commence on July 24. 

For the premiere show, scheduled at 9 pm on July 23, AP govt allowed the producers to increase the ticket prices upto an additional Rs 600 (GST excluded), above the regular prices.

Additionally, for a period of first 10 days of film’s release, that is July 24 to August 2, the producers have been allowed to increase the ticket prices for all categories of screenings.

At multiplexes, the ticket prices are allowed to be raised upto Rs 200 above the regular prices. Meanwhile, at the single screen theatres, the said price hike approvals stand at Rs 150 and Rs 100 for upper-class and lower-class seats, respectively. 

This essential means that the multiplex tickets for Hari Hara Veera Mallu can go upto Rs 885 for the premiere shows, and Rs 377 for the regular multiplex shows till August 2.

It is yet to be decided whether a similar price hike approval will be made by Telangana government as well, which constitutes a large chunk of the film’s Telugu market territory. 

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is directed by Jyothi Krisna, with Krish Jagalarmudi, who commenced the project, sharing the credits. The period action drama also stars Niddhi Agerwal, Bobby Deol and Anupam Kher in prominent roles. AM Rathnam is the producer, bankrolling the project under Mega Surya Productions. This film marks the third collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and the reputed production house after 21 years, with Kushi (2001) and Bangaram (2004) being their previous works together. 

Meanwhile, the pre-release event for the film will be held in Hyderabad on Monday, July 21.
