The trailer for much-anticipated Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan, was officially unveiled on Thursday. Billed as a large-scale historical action drama, the film presents the star in a period role for the first time in his career.

Set against the backdrop of the Mughal Empire, the HHVM’s trailer begins with a voiceover (From Arjun Das) stating, “Back then, if you had to be a Hindu, you needed to pay tax. During those times, nature herself was awaiting the arrival of a lone warrior.” This introduction leads into visuals of Pawan Kalyan’s Veera Mallu, a rebellious outlaw tasked initially with stealing the Kohinoor diamond, who later becomes a saviour figure opposing Mughal rule under Aurangzeb (Bobby Deol).

Directed by AM Jyothi Krisna, Hari Hara Veera Mallu features extensive visual effects sequences and dramatic set pieces. The background score by Academy Award-winning composer MM Keeravani supports the trailer's warrior tone, highlighting Pawan Kalyan’s transformation from thief to folk hero. Certain dialogues in the trailer also appear to reference Pawan Kalyan’s political journey, with reports suggesting that three of them were written by the star himself.

HHVM has been in production for over three years and saw multiple delays before finalising its release date. The film was originally helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi, but Jyothi Krisna later took over direction. It is produced by Dayakar Rao under the Mega Surya Production banner and presented by AM Rathnam.

The supporting cast includes Bobby Deol as the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, Nidhhi Agerwal, and other notable names. Cinematography is handled by Gnana Shekar VS and Manoj Paramahamsa, with editing by KL Praveen.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is set for pan-Indian theatrical release on July 24, and the trailer has initiated renewed interest among fans ahead of what is expected to be a big release for the star after a huge gap.
