Karthi, Simran, Prabhu Deva pay tribute to Kota Srinivasa Rao

Kota Srinivasa Rao who passed away in the early hours of Sunday, was mourned by actors Karthi, Simran, and Prabhu Deva. The Telugu actor and politician breathed his last at his residence in Hyderabad.

Actor Karthi took to X and wrote, "We lost a legend today. The demise of Shri Kota Srinivasa Rao Garu deeply saddens me." He added, "His love for the craft, his energy on set, and the unforgettable characters he brought to life will always stay with us. A true actor’s actor — he inspired us all. Will miss you, sir." Karthi has collaborated with Kota Srinivasa Rao twice, in 2012's Saguni and 2013's All in All Azhagu Raja.

Writing about the veteran actor on X, actor Simran wrote, "Shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao garu. His voice, presence, and craft were truly one of a kind. Heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and dear ones. Om Shanti." Simran and Kota Srinivasa Rao has appeared together in films like Samarasimha Reddy, Okka Magaadu, Daddy, and Nuvvu Vasthavani.

Meanwhile, actor-choreographer Prabhu Deva, took to X, and wrote, "Saddened by the loss of Kota Srinivasa Rao Garu. A legendary actor who gave us unforgettable performances. Rest in peace." Prabhu Deva has appeared with Kota Srinivasa Rao in Santosham (2002) and Michael Madana Kamaraju (2008).
