Ram Charan’s Peddi makers unveil Shivarajkumar's character poster

Shivarajkumar plays a powerful man named GourNaidu in Peddi, which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana

July 12 marks the birthday of Kannada actor Shivarajkumar. On the occasion, the makers of the Ram Charan starrer Peddi unveiled the character poster for the veteran actor who plays a prominent role in the film. The poster features Shivarajkumar in a side profile, where the actor looks commanding in his presence, an aura further accentuated by his thick handlebar moustache and his intense gaze. The senior actor will be seen playing an authoritative figure named Gournaidu in the film. 

Written and directed by Uppena fame Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is billed as a rural sports action drama that blends intense character arcs with never-before-seen cinematic spectacle. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru’s Vriddhi Cinemas, and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyenndu in prominent roles. 

Behind the lens is renowned cinematographer R Rathnavelu, while the soundtrack is composed by Oscar-winning maestro AR Rahman. National Award-winner Navin Nooli handles the editing.

Peddi is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on March 27, 2026, which incidentally marks Ram Charan’s birthday. The film will clash at the boxoffice against Nani’s The Paradise which is slated for a release the same weekend.
