Actor-filmmaker Arjun Sarja is making his next film Seetha Payanam, as a trilingual that’s scheduled to release in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. On Thursday, the makers released new single from their film, titled ‘Ye Oorikelthave Pilla’.

Composed by Anup Rubens, ‘Ye Oorikelthave Pilla’ is an energetic composition, steeped in its folk elements and a rustic vibe. Anup Rubens also surprises with a brief heavy rock interlude towards the latter portions. Both the playback singers Rahul Sipligunj and Madhu Priya do great justice to the song’s energy. The lyrics, built on a playful banter between the two leads, are written by Academy award winner Chandrabose. SM Subhani has been credited for the strings section. Shrasti Verma has choreographed the vibrant song sequence that's shot entirely at outdoor hinterland locales.

The teaser of Seetha Payanam, released in May, introduces a road trip narrative, showcasing the evolving relationship between Seetha (Aishwarya Arjun) and Abhi (Niranjan) even as they journey together with their contrasting personalities.

Seetha Payanam’s supporting cast includes Sathyaraj, Prakash Raj, Bithri Sathi, Sumithra, and Kovai Sarala. Additionally, Dhruva Sarja will make a guest appearance. The technical crew includes G Balamurugan as cinematographer, Ayoob Khan as editor, and Sai Madhav Burra writing the Telugu dialogues.

Seetha Payanam is produced under the Sree Raam Films International banner. Besides directing the film, Arjun Sarja is also the story and screenplay writer, producer, and fight choreographer. Arjun’s last directorial before Seetha Payanam, was the 2018 film Solli Vidava. While Aishwarya, who is Arjun’s daughter, has previously worked in Tamil and Kannada films, Niranjan too makes his Telugu debut with the film.

The release date for the film is yet to be announced.
