Maadhav, nephew of Ravi Teja and son of actor Raghu, is gearing up for his second film as a lead. Titled Maremma, the film is billed as a rural action drama and is directed by Manchala Nagaraj. The project marks the debut production of Moksha Arts, with Mayur Reddy Bandaru producing under the banner.

The makers released the film’s title and first look poster on Monday. Maadhav is seen in a rugged rural avatar, dressed in a checked shirt, lungi, and with a towel draped around his neck. The poster also features a buffalo in the backdrop, symbolising folklore and strength. Maadhav, holding a stick and sporting messy hair and a beard, hints at a character shaped by rooted conflict.

Director Manchala Nagaraj has reportedly crafted a story to present Maadhav as a ferocious village-based protagonist. The young actor has undergone a physical transformation for the role.

Deepa Balu stars opposite Madhav in the film, with supporting roles played by Vinod Kumar, Vikas Vashishtha, Dayanand Reddy, and VS Rupa Lakshmi. The technical crew includes Prashanth Ankireddy as the cinematographer, music by Prashanth R Vihari, editing by Dev Rathod, and art direction by Rajkumar Murugesan.

More details regarding the film’s release date and teaser are expected to be announced soon.
