A few days ago, the makers of Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha set July 17 as the release date for their film. The new single of the film was released on Monday. 

Sung by Karthick and Chinmayi Sripada, ‘Gala Gala’ is an upbeat romantic song. Justin Prabhakaran has composed the soundtrack for the film, while the lyrics are penned by Rehman. 

The song’s energy is further accentuated by the incorporation of its backing vocals section (Sam P Keerthan, Shibi Srinivasan, Aravind Annest, Sugandh Shekar) and the interludes with arrangement by Budapest Scoring Orchestra (score preparation by Beven Elankumaran).

The song video, choreographed by Jithu, is picturised on the film’s leads (played by Naresh Agastya and Rabiya Khatoon). 

Vipin is the writer-director for the film. Bankrolled under the banner of Sunethra Entertainment, Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha is produced by Uma Devi Kota who has also worked on the film as a costume designer and co-story writer (the latter in association with Ravinder Pulle).  The technical crew has veterans like Thota Tharani and Marthand K Venkatesh on board, helming production design and editing, respectively. Mohana Krishna is the cinematographer.
