Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Vishwambhara is a socio-fantasy drama directed by Vassishta Mallidi, with Trisha Krishnan playing the female lead. Currently in production, the film is backed by UV Creations and features an ensemble cast including Ashika Ranganath, Kunal Kapoor, Ramya Pasupaleti, Esha Chawla, and Ashrita Vemuganti Nanduri.

The director shared an update on Vishwambhara’s progress through Instagram on Tuesday, posting a photo of himself with Chiranjeevi, Academy Award winning composer MM Keeravaani, and lyricist Chandrabose during the music sittings. Expressing his gratitude, he wrote, “Thank you so much, sir. Excited for the audience to witness what you and Keeravani Garu have cooked.”

While the official release date has not been confirmed, reports suggest that Vishwambhara might arrive in theatres on May 9. Chota K Naidu cranked the camera for the film while production designer AS Kumar erected the massive sets for the film.
