Hathya trailer: A determined cop attempts to unravel a political murder case against many barriers

The film is directed by Srividya Basawa, who previously made the 2020 film Madha

Dhanya Balakrishna will be seen playing a police officer in the upcoming thriller Hathya. The makers of the film released their trailer on Friday.

Directed by Srividya Basawa, Hathya promises to be a complex police procedural thriller, where a team of determined cops attempt to solve the murder case of a major politicians, against all barriers including a compromised crime scene and a lethargic local investigation team that initially attempted to label the murder as a natural death case. 

Dulquer Salmaan unveiled the film’s trailer on his social media page, congratulating the team for their endeavour, penning, “Happy to launch the trailer of Hathya. Looks like a well made gripping investigative thriller More power to you Srividya Basawa.” Srividya Basawa had previously directed 2020 film Madha.

Besides Dhanya Balakrishna, the film stars Ravi Verma, Pooja Ramchandran, Bindu Chandramouli, Srikanth Iyengar, Sivaji Raja and Raghunath Raju in the primary cast. Naresh Kumaran P has composed music for the film. Anil Kumar P is the editor, while cinematography is helmed by Abhiraj Rajendran Nair. 

Produced by S Prashanth Reddy, who is also the production designer for his film, Hathya is slated for a theatrical release on January 24.
