Aishwarya Rajesh: Sankranthiki Vasthunam is one of the toughest roles of my career 

The Venkatesh starrer entertainer marked Aishwarya’s return to Telugu cinema after 4 years

Aishwarya Rajesh has been receiving a lot of appreciation for her performance in the recently-released Sankranthiki Vasthunam. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the comedy entertainer features Aishwarya as a innocent yet spunky homemaker who goes to great lengths to be with her husband, played by Venkatesh. At the success meet event for the film, Aishwarya Rajesh described her role in the film as ‘one of the toughest’ roles of her career.

Addressing the audience, Aishwarya stated, “This character is one of the toughest in my career. I have usually done very intense and emotional roles so far, so this was completely new for me.” The actress further thanked her director Anil Ravipudi for the opportunity, stating, “Whatever fame I get for this film, all credit goes to Anil gaaru. I probably did only 10-20% of what he told me; would have been better if I could 100 percent. It took 5-6 days to just get into the rhythm of the character.”

Sankranthi Vasthunam marks Aishwarya's return to Telugu cinema after four years the actress' last foray in Telugu cinema was the 2021 release Republic.
