Jagapathi Babu, who was recently seen in films like Pushpa 2: The Rule and Simbaa among others, is playing a significant role in the upcoming Ram Charan starrer, tentatively titled RC 16. The film is being directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who attained a lot of critical acclaim with his debut film Uppena. On Thursday, the Pushpa 2 actor shared a BTS video from the sets of the film.

Taking to his X page, the actor shared a timelapse video where he can be seen preparing for his character, which requires hours of work with the make-up team and plenty of physical transformation. The actor captioned the video, “After a long time, Buchi Babu Sana has given me a good role in RC 16. I am very content, looking at my get-up for the film.” The director replied to Jagapathi Babu’s post, saying “Love you sir. See you soon on sets.”

Besides Ram Charan and Jagapathi Babu, RC 16 stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and prominent actors like Shivarajkumar and Divyenndu in the supporting cast. AR Rahman is composing music for the film.

The shoot for RC 16 has been going at a brisk pace. However, the makers have not announced any tentative release plans for the film.
