Thandel, the much-awaited romantic drama starring Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya, is slated for a theatrical release on February 7. On Saturday, the makers of Thandel released the video for their popular single, ‘Bujji Thalli.’

The ‘Bujji Thalli’ video captures the early days of romance between the film's protagonists Raju and Satya, as well as the couple’s heartwarming attempts to stay connected during a period of separation. Javed Ali is the vocalist for the number, while lyrics are penned by Shree Mani. 

Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for the Chandoo Mondeti directorial. Chandoo is also the writer for the film. The previous single from the film, ‘Namo Namah Shivay,’ has over 4 million Youtube hits so far, while Bujji Thalli’s lyrical video version already has nearly 50 million hits. 

Thandel marks the second collaboration between Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya after their successful 2021 film Love Story. Centred around a love story set along the Srikakulam coast, Thandel is produced by Bunny Vas, and presented by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts banner. The cinematography and production design are helmed by Shamdat and Srinagendra Tangala, respectively. National award winner Navin Nooli is the editor.

Thandel has been in the production stage for a long time. The first glimpse of the film was released in January last year.
