SS Rajamouli unveiled the theatrical trailer of Ram Charan starrer Game Changer. Speaking at the trailer launch, he said, “For all of us, Shankar sir is the OG of big-scale films. In the last ten years, all filmmakers are aspiring to make spectacular pan-Indian films, but it was Shankar sir who started it all. For people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Shankar is a Telugu filmmaker. All our technicians and actors respect Shankar sir a lot.”

The Game Changer trailer has Ram Charan playing the role of an IAS officer who takes charge against corruption and evil politicians. In equal measure, SJ Suryah plays the CM who stands opposite the protagonist. The political thriller has a vintage Shankar vibe with a morally upright protagonist fighting an evil system. The film’s trailer also promises an action-packed ride.

Game Changer, directed by Shankar Shanmugham, also has Ram Charan playing the dual roles of father and son, with Anjali and Kiara Advani playing the romantic interests for both characters, respectively. The extended cast includes SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, and Sunil, among others.

Game Changer, bankrolled by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, is one of the most-awaited films. The thriller has story written by Karthik Subbaraj. The film’s technical crew has cinematographer Tirru, editor Shameer Mohammed, and action director Anbariv. The political thriller is coming to screens on January 10, 2025.
