Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh’s son Akash Jagannadh will soon be seen headlining the action entertainer Thalvar. The makers released a special audio glimpse of their film on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. 

The audio glimpse features a Akash Jagannadh's voiceover, where the young actor delivers a powerful dialogue about an ongoing war and bloodshed spanning generations. Another striking line where the protagonist declares his intent to make righteousness prevail through injustice, too leaves an impact. The film features prominent actors like Prakash Raj, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ajay and Shine Tom Chacko in the ensemble cast.  Additionally, Puri Jagannadh is also a part of the supporting cast. 

Thalvar is produced by Dr. Bhaskar ELV under the banner of Warnick Studios, while Kasi Parasuuram helms direction. Kasi has previously worked as a writer on films like Ashwathhama and Lakshya, besides directing the 2022 film Ranasthali. Kesava Kiran is the music director for the film. On the technical front, Trilok Siddu and Ayila Srinivasa Rao are in charge of cinematography and editing, respectively. 

Thalvar is currently in the shooting stage. The makers are also planning to release their film in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
