The makers of the upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual Ramam Raghavam, starring Samuthirakani and Dhanraj Koranani in the lead roles, unveiled the film’s trailer on Friday. Actor Nani launched the trailer of the drama that’s coming to screens on February 21.

The trailer showcases a hard-hitting equation between a father and son as the son challenges the notion that children have to take care of their parents as they age. The son, played by Dhanraj, questions the system where parents treat their children as an investment. However, as the story progresses, he makes many wrong choices, ending up in debt-heavy circumstances. He is faced with the choice of committing a crime or asking his father for help. How he chooses the former and ends up with consequences forms the plot.

Ramam Raghavam marks the directorial debut of Dhanraj Koranani, an established character artist in Telugu cinema. He also doubles up as the film’s lead. The emotional hard-hitting drama also stars Harish Uthaman, Satya, Srinivas Reddy, Pruthviraj, Moksha Sengupta and Pramodini.

Produced by Prudhvi Polavarapu under the Slate Pencil banner, Ramam Raghavam has music by Arun Chiluvera and cinematography by Durga Prasad. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
