After making his previous appearance in AR Murugadoss' film Sikandar, Salman Khan is likely to collaborate with a South Indian director once again.
Producer Shirish, who co-owns Sri Venkateswara Creations with Dil Raju, spoke to the scribes at the IFFI Goa event on Sunday and said that a project helmed by Vamshi Paidipally, which is set to star Salman Khan in the lead, has been finalised.
He also said that their production house is on the verge of signing the deal with Akshay Kumar for the Hindi remake of the hit family entertainer Sankranthiki Vasthunam. In addition to these, a Pawan Kalyan film and three more films are expected to begin rolling in 2026.
Vamshi Paidipally last directed Vijay-led Tamil-Telugu bilingual Varisu/Varasudu (Telugu), which also starred Rashmika Mandanna, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Yogi Babu, Srikanth, and Ganesh Venkatraman. Vamshi is known for making Yevadu, starring Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, and Thozha/Oopiri (Telugu), starring Karthi and Nagarjuna.
Salman Khan, meanwhile, is in a lean patch with his recent films Radhe, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan, and his last outing Sikandar, faring dismally at the box office.
