

Director Matt Reeves took to social media to share the first look at The Batman Part 2. The director also revealed that the upcoming film will now release on February 18, 2028, instead of October 1, 2027.
The first look was revealed by Reeves through a 30-second camera test video, which features Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader standing amidst falling snow and blasting sirens, setting the stage for a new conflict in a reborn Gotham City.
The Batman Part 2 is a sequel to Reeves' The Batman (2022), and will pickup after the events of the 2024 miniseries, The Penguin, which saw Colin Farrell reprising his role as Oz Cobb/The Penguin from the 2022 film.
The cast of the film sees the return of Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Jayme Lawson, Gil Perez-Abraham from The Batman (2022). Joining the sequel are Game of Thrones-fame Charles Dance, Scarlett Johansson, and Sebastian Stan who is set to portray Harvey Dent/Two-Face.
While in The Batman (2022), the vigilante went up against the Riddler, Penguin and crime boss Carmine Falcone, the sequel is rumoured to feature Mr Freeze, along with the return of Joker, played by Barry Keoghan in The Batman (2022).
