A grand celebration event is being held right now in Hyderabad, on the eve of birthday of Megastar Chiranjeevi, who turns 70 on August 22. On the occasion, the makers of one of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming projects, which is being directed by Bobby Kolli, gave a major surprise to all Megastar fans. 

KVN Productions, the production banner for the film, announced that a special concept poster for their film will be unveiled on August 22, 5.13pm. The film is tentatively titled ChiruBobby2. 

While more details about the project are yet to be officially announced, reportedly Mirai director Karthik Gattamaneni is onboard as the cinematographer. Earlier we had reported that the shooting for ChiruBobby2 is expected to begin in September. 

Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli had previously collaborated on Waltair Veerayya, the 2023 action-thriller which was a major boxoffice hit. Bobby Kolli’s previous film Daaku Maharaaj, which starred Balakrishna, released in January this year.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has three other projects in the line-up. Besides MEGA157 with Anil Ravipudi and Vishwambhara, whose special glimpse was unveiled earlier this evening, the Megastar also has an actioner lined up with The Paradise director Srikanth Odela.
