A few weeks ago, the makers of Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming film K-Ramp had unveiled its riotous first glimpse teaser, giving a peek into its madcap universe, also announcing October 18 as the release date. Interestingly enough, the teaser didn’t establish any other main character besides Kiran’s. On Thursday, the makers unveiled a new poster, introducing its female lead Yukti Thareja.

Yukti Thareja will be seen playing Mercy Joy, a girl from Kerala. Her character poster gives a colourful glimpse of the same, with Yukti dressed in a vibrant traditional attire. The makers also announced that the first single from their film, titled 'The Onam Song', will be released on Saturday, August 9. In July, the makers also wrapped up their Kerala schedule.  Interestingly, even in the first glimpse, Kiran’s character Kumar makes a light-reference to Malayalam romantic movies, and their overwhelming acceptance among Telugu audience.

K-Ramp was officially launched in February this year, with the shoot commencing in May.

Written and directed by Jains Nani, K-Ramp also features Naresh, Sai Kumar, and Vennela Kishore among others in the ensemble cast. The film promises to capture the adventures of its easy-going protagonist who knows how to enjoy everything that life offers, and is cushioned by excessive wealth to do so.

The film is jointly produced by Razesh Danda and Shiva Bommakku under the banners of Hasya Movies and Rudramsh Celluloid. Chetan Bharadwaj is composing music for the film. The technical crew includes Sateesh Reddy Masam (cinematography), Brahma Kadali (production design) and Chota K Prasad (editing).

Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming films include a romantic drama titled Chennai Love Story, where he shares screen with Gouri Priya.

Yukti’s previous film credits include Rangabali (her Telugu debut) and Marco
